Best Selection of 90+ Point Wines Anywhere!!!
We have one of the largest selections of TOP RATED WINES in the nation. Our outstanding
staff selected
many of these wines well before they received outstanding ratings allowing
us to purchase large quantities at bargain prices. These wines all received top honors
from noted wine publications including; Robert Parker's Wine Advocate,
The Wine Spectator, and Stephen Tanzer's International
Wine Cellar.
Best of all, we do not mark these wines up after they received
their high ratings. We maintain our low prices and in many cases we mark down these
wines to ensure that we have the best prices available. If a supplier marks up a wine
after it receives a high rating - we won't offer it to you as we believe we can offer you
outstanding, and high-rated wines, at good prices.
All SALE Wines featured on this page are marked down 10 - 25%. Additionally,
there is a 10% Mixed Case Discount on all non-sale wines. So when you purchase

"Bright red-ruby. Subtle, fresh and wonderfully aromatic nose offers complex scents of redcurrant, blueberry, strawberry, tobacco, mocha, graphite, leather and cedar. Penetrating and claret-like, with superb delineation to the redcurrant and tobacco flavors. Perfectly integrated acidity and an intriguing herbal nuance give this wine a light touch. Finishes with tactile, dusty tannins and lovely lift and persistence. Offers compelling complexity and class for the price."

CHERRIER SANCERRE BLANC LES CHAILLOUX CUVEE VV 2008, FRANCE
"A wine on the crisp, mineral side, bringing out some flintiness while also showing pear juice fruit flavors. There is a strong texture here, leaving a final tight acidity. Tangy, with chive, lemon peel and gooseberry notes that stay crackling through the bright finish. Solid. Drink now." Wine Spectator 89 Pts And, according to Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale yellow. Aromas of pear skin, lanolin, honey and wet rock, plus a hint of orange zest. Juicy, spicy and nicely focused, offering open-knit citrus and orchard fruit flavors. Finishes with tart citrus and floral flavors and good length."
Fresh lime, kiwi, and honeydew are balanced by a profound minerality. A very lithe and racy wine indeed, and without question an archetypal Sancerre!

BOLLIG LEHNERT TRITTENHEIMER APOTHEKE RIESLING KABINETT 2007, GERMANY
The very steep Apotheke vineyard, across the Mosel from the estate house, is Stefan's best site in Trittenheim. 'Apotheke' translates to 'pharmacy', and its medicinal power is perhaps
more than a myth. Stefan Bollig's wines are stylish and crisp with a fine fruity elegance and good mineral content. The fine structure of ripe acidity gives his wines plenty of maturing
potential. Apple, lime and slate aromas and flavors percolate through the rich texture, with everything supported by a vibrant structure. Very harmonious and long, with a mouthwatering impression. Drink now through 2022.

ANCIENT PEAKS MERLOT 2007, CALIFORNIA
The 2007 Merlot begins with generous aromas of plum, raspberry, mocha and toasty vanilla. The palate is smooth and supple, unfolding with deep flavors of black cherry, blackberry, plum and cassis. Accents of clove spice accompany juicy tannins on a long, balanced finish.
"Shows some real class and distinction, with velvety-smooth tannins and a nice touch of smoky cedar framing well-developed flavors of black cherry candy, red currants and spices. One of the best Merlots to come out of Paso Robles lately, at a fair price. Editors' Choice!"

BODEGAS MAURODOS PRIMA TORO 2008, SPAIN
Aged for 12 months in seasoned French and American oak prior to bottling without filtration. With a glass-coating opaque purple color, it reveals an expressive nose of smoke, pencil lead, tobacco, spice box, black cherry, and blackberry. Supple and round on the palate, it has layers of ripe fruit, savory flavors, and enough soft tannin to improve for another 3-5 years. This lengthy effort will have a drinking window extending from 2012 to 2025. In short, it is a serious example of Toro at a nearly frivolous price.
