Wine Vintages
In these vintage charts, wines are given a grade based on the
overall quality of that specific year. Because the point system for grading
wine tends to be relatively absolute, we've used a scholastic letter grading
scale which allows us to be a little more general while still in keeping
with the dynamic and subjective nature of wines. Please bear in mind that
grades should be used only as a general reference and wines will vary from
one producer to the next. The true grade takes into context appropriate
storage and cellaring conditions, i.e. wines stored at their optimum.
