OSSA ROQUEVALE RED BLEND ALENTEJO 2014, PORTUGAL
Alentejo is renowned for red blends, which are as warm, generous and easy-going as its people (of whom it is said have three speeds - slow, very slow and stationary).

Today's wine, OSSA is a blend featuring Syrah and local native varieties Trincadeira, Castelão and Aragonez. These grapes thrive in hot weather. A fruity, easy-drinking wine with soft tannins.

OSSA is a little mountain (Serra d'Ossa) next to the vinyards. The wine is full of warm, friendly fruitiness. A regiment of 12 months in oak has smoothed out the tannins, and created an instantly drinkable wine. Red fruit tones provide a soft and rounded texture that contributes to this wine's approachable character. You cannot get much better value than this in my book.    ON SALE - $ 9.98

CHATEAU LES CLOS FRANC VOUVRAY 2013, FRANCE
The 2013 Clos Franc Vouvray is excellent! Aromatics of spring flowers, poached pears, honeyed melon and some buttered citrus jump from the glass of this medium-bodied, very pure, fresh and nicely concentrated wine, which is the epitome of great Vouvray.

The cool climate in the Vouvray appellation area insures good acidity, which is balanced by the distinctly fruity character of the Chenin Blanc and the mineral qualities imparted by the soil. Thanks to these natural elements, this half-dry Vouvray combines elegance and vigor with sweetness and an inherent freshness.

GERARD BERTRAND VIOGNIER RESERVE 2013, FRANCE
Wine Enthusiast Best European Winery of the Year

This wonderful French Viognier will surely inspire you. Fresh and flavorsome, this 100% Viognier comes from the coastal vineyards. It offers fresh notes of citrus, ripe apple and white flowers. Aging in barrels brings out key toasty notes and aromas of hazelnut. Overall it is a well-balanced wine, fresh and mineral. GOLD MEDAL WINNER & BEST VALUE    ON SALE - $ 12.98

BIUTIFUL CAVA BRUT N/V, SPAIN
This Cava is produced from some of the estates best grapes sourced from the Western portion of Requena from vineyards with a Northern orientation. This 80/20 blend of Macabeo and Chardonnay is floral in character, offering a perfumed, fruity palate and an austere mineral finish. We think this is the BEST VALUE Cava out there - period!! It's elegant and easy to drink. The perfect crowd pleasing sparkler! The Washington Post says, "Spanish importer Aurelio Cabestrero offers this sparkler, which lives up to its name. Its richer than most cava, thanks to a 20 percent addition of chardonnay in the blend. EXCELLENT 3- STARS    ON SALE - $ 12.98

MITTELBACH T-ROSE ZWEIGELT 2014, AUSTRIA
A zesty and racy rose from the Zweigelt grape that will leave you speechless! This rose is one we are able to keep on the shelf almost year round. The perfect example of what rosé can be - crisp, dry, mouthwatering, elegant - it's one we return to again and again. This 100% Zweigelt is bright at the start and fresh on the nose with cherry and red currant notes. Those aromas carry over into the same flavors with a hint of watermelon to keep it fresh.

A beautiful hue of watermelon sets just the right tone for this bright, disarmingly fun rosé. Crisp, dry and ultra-refreshing, this light to medium bodied wine exudes an intoxicating perfume of ripe cherry and crushed strawberry. The wine holds its balance throughout the finish, never once striking a confectionery note. A joy to drink and absolutely appropriate anytime.    ON SALE - $ 13.98

WILLOW CREST RIESLING YAKIMA VALLEY 2012, WASHINGTON
Brilliant color of yellow straw with a slight green hue, this wine has an explosive nose offering up aromas of peach blossom, candied orange peel, lemon sherbet, dried pineapple, vanilla flower and mineral. The palate is seamless and round, yet light and elegant; great acidity makes this wine complete by balancing the 4% residual sugar. Classic Riesling flavors of citrus oil, honey and green apple come to mind in one of our best efforts yet. Drink all year long.    ON SALE - $ 14.98

HILLINGER SECCO SPARKLING PINOT NOIR, AUSTRIA
100% Pinot Noir crafted into a sparkling rose wine made in the Prosecco style. Still wine fermented in stainless steel tanks, carbonic acid added according to the Prosecco method. It has delicate aromas of fresh strawberries and red berries, which follow through on the palate. The flavors are beautifully balanced with a vibrant and refreshingly dry finish. Wonderful as an aperitif, start of a great dinner and evening, pairs very well with Sushi or serve after dinner with fresh strawberries.

The bright orange-pink color stands out on the table and in the glass, the tiny lively bubbles give a hint of what's to come. The nose reveals scents of fresh fruit and with your first sip you may think you just bit into a delicious strawberry peach fruit.
- Austrian Wine Review rated "Top Value - 4 Stars" - GOLD MEDAL WINNER

Secco is made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes that do well in the climate around the lake where they are grown. Produced in a prosecco style - gives the bubbles a gentle but persistent texture. The mouth feel is creamy and fulfilling. - I Wine Review 90 Pts    ON SALE - $ 14.98

ARROCAL RIBERA DEL DUERO 2013, SPAIN
Deep ruby. Displays smoky dark berry and cherry pit on the nose, with a peppery note adding lift. Juicy and tightly focused, with bitter cherry and cassis flavors complemented by a floral nuance. Shows more red fruit character on the finish, which is firmed by dusty, slow-building tannins. A quick decanting helps here. IWC 88+ Pts    ON SALE - $ 14.98

BODEGAS MAURODOS PRIMA TORO 2013, SPAIN
"Deep ruby. Deeply pitched aromas of dried cherry, cassis, lavender and smoked meat, with a hint of pipe tobacco in the background. Chewy and focused on entry, then fleshier in the mid-palate, offering bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors and a touch of gaminess. The smoke and cherry notes repeat on the long, youthfully tannic finish. This wine was aged for a year in used French and American oak barriques. 2019 2022" - Vinous 90 Pts

"The 2013 Prima was bottled in May 2015, and is a blend of Tinta de Toro (aka Tempranillo) and 10% Garnacha with a little bit of white Malvasía. The wine matured, part in used barrique and part in oak vats, in order to keep the fruit. 2013 was a cooler vintage, which in Toro produced a slow ripening of the grapes. Bright ruby-colored, the nose is cooler, earthy and showing fresh herbal aromas with red fruit and more mineral notes as it opens up in the glass, where graphite, peat and some notes made me think of a classical wine from Bordeaux. The palate is medium-bodied, with very fine tannins and good acidity; it is very elegant, balanced, fresh and easy to drink. 175,000 bottles were produced." - Wine Advocate 90 Pts

Regular Price $19.99    ON SALE - $ 15.98

AIA VECCHIA LAGONE TOSCANA 2013, ITALY
60% Merlot with the balance Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The vines are on the plains, between Bolgheri and the town of La California. Temperature-controlled fermentation, manual punch-down and pumpovers. Aged one year in barrique and a minimum of six months in bottle. The wine has a warm, deep purplish-red color and aromas of Mediterranean wood. Its flavors of wild berries and juicy ripe cherries are balanced by spice notes, and an elegant structure and mellow mouthfeel.

"A rich, flavorful red full of ripe fruit and new wood. Full-bodied and intense but shows an underlying freshness and depth. Needs two to three year to soften."

James Suckling 92 Pts    ON SALE - $ 15.98
