SENSIBLE TEMPRANILLO VINO DE LA TIERRA DE CASTILLA 2013, SPAIN
"Tempranillo from Spain has become one of wines best bargains over the past few years, as importers seek out producers with old vines in lesser-known regions. Popularity might be driving prices up a bit. Still, this tasty red is textbook tempranillo, with ripe blackberry and blueberry flavors, a hint of tobacco and a dash of spice." - Washington Post

"(100% tempranillo, aged in 75% French and 25% American oak for six months): Ruby-red. Musky cherry and vanilla scents, with hints of cracked pepper and orange pith in the background. Offers spicy, slow-to-unwind red fruit flavors braced by juicy acidity. Finishes brisk and focused, with youthfully chewy tannins. A little aeration helps a lot here." - IWC 89 Pts    ON SALE - $ 9.98

AIME ROQUESANTE MAS FLEUREY COTES DE PROVENCE ROSE 2014, FRANCE
Fruit for this wine comes from the vineyards in Vidauban along the banks of the Argens river. Aime Roquesante, a modern winery respectful of traditional processes, blends Provence's predominant grapes: cinsault, grenache and syrah. The distinctive bottle, a curvy shape known as a skittle, sets off the pretty color of the wine. On the nose, the wine offers aromas of fresh strawberry and hints of peach. On the palate, taste watermelon, young red berries, citrus and stony minerality on the crisp finish. Drink it as an aperitif or with hors d'oeuvres such as smoked salmon or pate, salads, seafood, fried chicken, barbecue, Asian cuisines, fruit and soft cheeses.    $ 12.99

BODEGA SOTTANO CABERNET SAUVIGNON CLASSICO 2013, ARGENTINA
Bodega Sottano "Classico" hails from Perdriel, an exceptional part of Mendoza known for its intense red wines. This delicious Cabernet has wonderful aromas of black cherry, mint, a little oak and hints of hickory. On the palate, it shows lots of concentration with toasty oak, chocolate and blackberry flavors blending harmoniously with dark fruit and cassis. Aged in French oak to provide just enough fine tannins to balance its delicious fruit and create a long elegant finish.

"The 2013 Clasico Cabernet Sauvignon is a clean and fresh, lightly-oaked style of Cabernet Sauvignon, with fresh aromas of mint, macerated cherries and tobacco leaf. The palate is medium-bodied, with very refined tannins, good acidity and focus. It is not so easy to find this quality in this price range. Drink 2014-2018."

Reg $15.88 - Wine Advocate 90 Pts    ON SALE - $ 13.98

CORIOLE SANGIOVESE/SHIRAZ 2011, AUSTRALIA
Versatility and value. Coriole Sangiovese is a fine offering. Red fruit (with a minor youthful jaminess), mint and dried herb - aniseed perhaps, oak is nowhere in sight (or smell). BODEGAS MAURODOS PRIMA TORO 2012, SPAIN
