SHOOFLY PINOT NOIR 2013, AUSTRALIA
This wine shows the purity of fruit that is so easily lost with this fickle variety. The aromas and flavors mirror one another with light cherry, spicy floral notes and hints of vanilla. BOGLE ESSENTIAL RED 2012, CALIFORNIA
Wine Enthusiast Best Buy 2014 #3

This dry red blend is as sophisticated, structured and balanced as many high-end Cabernets. FINCA SOPHENIA CABERNET SAUVIGNON TUPUNGATO ALTOSUR 2013, ARGENTINA
Finca Sophenia, is a fairly small, sophisticated winery located in one of the best regions in Argentina. Its wines have a very "new world" bent from the influence of world famous Bordeaux consultant Michel Rolland. It is aged in 100 percent French barriques and on the palate it is oaky and ripe with loads of plump fruit and ripe blackberry flavors

"A juicy and lush red, with a bright savory note to the red currant, raspberry and black licorice flavors. Complex and briary accents linger on the supple, creamy finish. Drink now through 2018." Wine Spectator 90 Pts    $ 11.99

SENORIO DE BARAHONDA BARRICA 2011, SPAIN
Barahonda Barrica has consistently gotten good reviews from The Wine Advocate, but the '92' on this 2011 is their best 'number' to date. Ripe, substantial, character-filled, and inexpensive, this one pushes all of the buttons. Parker went on to say, "These wines are among my favorites from this motivated company. While none of their wines are household names, readers should seek them out as they represent sensational values from viticultural regions throughout Spain."

"The 2011 Barrica is the richest and densest. It offers up camphor, pepper, bouquet garni, roasted meat, black currant and earthy blue fruit. Full-bodied, chewy and mouth-filling, this is a big, well-balanced wine that represents a super value. Drink it over the next 2-4 years."
- Wine Advocate 92 Pts    ON SALE - $ 13.98

DOMAINE LAFAGE NOVELLUM CHARDONNAY 2013, FRANCE
Proprietor and winemaker Jean-Marc Lafage has fashioned a knock-out white wine that sells for a ridiculously low price. Made from 100% Chardonnay aged on Viognier lees and in Burgundy barrels, this stunner is sure to please!

"More serious and layered, the 2013 VDP Cotes Catalanes Novellum is a crazy value that needs to be tasted to be believed. A custom cuvee by importer Eric Solomon and a blend of 100% Chardonnay that comes from two separate vineyards, this Cotes Catalanes is aged three months (on Viognier lees) in a combination of Burgundy barrels and stainless steel. Exotic and perfumed, with ample white peach, creme, brioche and subtle nuttiness, it flows onto the palate with a medium to full-bodied, layered and beautifully detailed texture that shows bright acidity and fantastic purity of fruit. An incredible effort that has both richness and freshness, it should continue to thrill for another handful of years.
