To accommodate last-minute Thanksgiving shoppers, Finewine.com will be open from 11-4 on Thanksgiving day.  We have a large infusion of wine arriving this week as we continue to gear up for the holidays, and we're here to assist you in finding the perfect wines for your Thanksgiving table!    

'Turkey Totes' take the guesswork out of choosing wine for your holiday feast!

Both Totes contain wines hand-selected to pair perfectly with both the zesty and subtle flavors on your table.  Our Standard Tote features 2 bottles each of the popular 'Can Xa' Spanish Cava, plus a classic (dry) Oregon Riesling and a beautiful California Pinot Noir.  The Premium Tote offers the opportunity to make the wine you enjoy with your Thanksgiving feast truly special.  It also includes two bottles of bubbly, in this case a rare vintage cava, the superb 2017 Sumarroca Gran Reserva.  The tote also has two bottles each of two super-special still wines.  The first is the 2019 Clos de la Roilette Fleurie Cru Beaujolais- a fantastic top-level Beaujolais that combines the lively fruit of Beaujolais with the depth of a red Burgundy.  Then we finish with one of our favorite California Chardonnays, the classic, always highly-rated 2019 Hartford Court Russian River Valley Chardonnay.

Beaujolais Nouveau is here, but supplies are limited!!   As usual, we are featuring wines from Manoir du Carra and Georges Duboeuf, two stand-out producers whose wines deliver the mouthwatering freshness and pop of raspberry and cherry fruit that defines these baby Beaujolais!  We have three types of Nouveau this year: "Beaujolais", "Beaujolais-Villages" wines that represent a little step up in quality, and this year we went out of our way to obtain additional supply of the ultra-popular "Beaujolais Nouveau Rose".  As always, there's no re-supply on these wines: we get what we get and when they're gone they're gone!

   SATURDAY, 27 NOVEMBER, 1-4:30 PM: THREE CALIFORNIA WINES, A GERMAN RIESLING, AND AN EXOTIC ARGENTINIAN RED BLEND FOR FREE TASTING!

We'll taste FIVE great wines from California, Germany and Argentina!  Three domestic faves, Leese-Fitch Chardonnay, Leese-Fitch Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pavette Pinot Noir hale from the Golden State; Leitz' "Dragonstone" Riesling is a classic off-dry German white from the Rheingau; and Vinalba's Malbec-Touriga Red Blend is a super and exotic red that you won't want to miss!   This is a great crowd-pleasing line-up to taste for FREE!
