Next, we'll taste Cavallo di Battaglia's Colline Pescaresi Pecorino 2020, a wine from the Pecorino grape that features a character of ripe citrus, pineapple, and honeyed cream. Then we'll transition to Spain to sample a Spanish specialty- Tempranillo. We'll taste Vina Buena's Ribera del Duero Tempranillo Crianza, a young, vibrant red from one of Spain's greatest appellations. "Silk & Spice" reflects Portugal’s indigenous grapes and unique terrain; the grapes come from wine regions including Dão, Bairrada, and Lisboa, and the varietal composition reflects the classic Portuguese art of blending, with a final blend of 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Alicante Bouschet and 30% Baga. While this wine appeals to palates everywhere, its character is distinctly and genuinely Portuguese. Sogrape describes the 2019 as "Intense, deep ruby color, with a bright red rim.
