From a vineyard in the far east of Bordeaux, this wine is lightly structured and dwells more on ripe black currant fruits and spice from Cabernet Franc in the blend. Drink from 2020.

This estate dating back at least to the 15th century has made a rich and dense wine. Perfumed fruits with blackberry richness contrast with the firm, dry core. The wine will age well and be ready to drink from 2022.

This wine comes from a 118-acre estate. It is stalky, with closed black fruits that need time to soften and smooth out. Likewise, the tannin structure is still dry and also needs time. But this wine has a future.

Aged for a year in wood, this rich wine is maturing nicely. The dark fruits and still-firm tannins show that the wine is not yet ready. Balance and maturity will come from 2023.
