Roederer Estate - Brut Anderson Valley NV

The first California wine produced by Roederer, Anderson Valley Brut is one of California's premier sparklers.  It is crisp and elegant with complex pear, spice and hazelnut flavors. It is also fresh and lightly fruity with great finesse and depth of flavor. Equally comfortable with candlelight dinners and summer picnics, Anderson Valley Brut is also wonderful with egg dishes (think brunch), sushi, spicy Asian food, and fish and white meats with creamy sauces.  Selected as one of Wine Spectator's Top 100 wines multiple times!

 

Thickly moussed, Roederer is Brut, 60% Chardonnay blended with 40% Pinot Noir, aged two years on yeast is affordable and luxurious. A gorgeous, very dry sparkling wine with aromatics of honey, raisin, apple and pear, it is rich and soft and offers both depth and length. It is an ideal marriage of bright acidity and ripe fruit character.
